For anyone who knows me and who has a calendar, the topic for my column this Friday will come as no surprise. This is the first week of the NHL season. For the last quarter of a century, the beginning of a new Nashville Predators hockey season has been something of a holiday for me, and it’s a holiday I celebrate heartily.
