Perhaps we can learn something from the Blackman incident. And by Blackman incident, I mean the sign which was hung last week at Nunley Stadium where Blackman cheerleaders proclaimed, "We saved the worst for last."The sign was clearly a jab at Warren County and our lack of success on the football field. It's been a trying two decades, as the sign aptly noted, however it's not always appreciated to have that rubbed in your face.In an effort to mitigate some of the damage, Blackman principal Leisa Justus was extremely gracious in writing a letter to the editor, which we published in Wednesday's edition. In her letter, Justus says, "I am deeply sorry for the display, and I want you to know it is being addressed."
