In the spirit of Christmas and all things magical, the Standard is conducting a promotion on our website to encourage readers to submit their favorite Christmas memory.It's a fitting request for this time of year and we're hoping to receiving some touching stories. In an effort to prime the pump so to speak, I decided to take this time to write about my favorite Christmas memory. I'm not sure if this will create a stampede of interest or drive people away like a swarm of bees, but here goes.Since it's difficult to whittle more than 40 years of Christmas down to one memory, I'll start with my runner-up.
