Last Sunday’s race at the “Monster Mile” was the last race of the 16-team segment. At the conclusion of the race, the Chase field was trimmed down from 16 to 12 teams. Martin Truex Jr., and Kevin Harvick each had a victory in the 16-car segment and had an automatic bye into the segment of 12.
