In the fall of 1993, the doors of the Rocky River Community Center opened to the beautiful sounds of bluegrass music. It was the fulfillment of a dream for organizers James and Nina Johnson.Recently, I interviewed James and Nina in their lovely home on Uncle Billy’s Lane, not far from the place where their dream became a reality, and then a labor of love for 21 years.James and Nina were there from the start. They built the Rocky River Bluegrass venue into a showcase for bluegrass bands and bluegrass fans alike.
