It’s that time, Warren County football fans. The Pioneers wrapped up their final scrimmage of the preseason against White County on Friday night at Nunley Stadium with a 21-6 victory and are ready to take the field this Friday when they travel to DeKalb County to take on the Tigers.The Pioneers are coming off a 1-9 record a season ago, but what I’ve seen from them in the preseason, there’s a new attitude with the team and the Pioneers are ready to change the misfortunes that have haunted the football program for years.On the offensive side, Isaiah Grayson has been on the money in preseason and seems to have a lot of velocity when the ball is released from his hand. Grayson will not only beat you with his arm, he can also beat you with his quickness from the pocket.The offensive line will be a force for the Pioneers and may be their strongest position on the field, besides the quarterback position.
