The Atlanta Braves have had a miserable start to the season, sitting at the bottom of Major League baseball with the same record as the Minnesota Twins (10-30). This past week, the Braves made waves as they fired manager Fredi Gonzalez after six seasons with the team.Gonzalez was fired in the most awkward way I’ve ever seen a manager get fired and that was via email telling him he had a flight booked back to Atlanta and the Braves had a game the following night in Pittsburgh against the Pirates.Say what you will about the Gonzalez firing, but don’t you agree he wasn’t given a fair chance? The Braves are in a roster overhaul and it all started last year when the team let go of Jason Heyward, B.J. and Justin Upton, Chris Johnson, all-star shortstop Andrelton Simmons and shutdown closer Craig Kimbrell.
