Fight Night - UFC in the Windy City

UFC 238 takes place this Saturday night in Chicago when current flyweight champion Henry “The Messenger” Cejudo moves up a weight class to battle No. 1 contender “Magic” Marlon Moraes for the vacant bantamweight title.

Cejudo (14-2) is coming off a huge 32-second knockout over former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw in January to save the flyweight division from obscurity. Before that fight, Cejudo picked up the biggest win of his career by dethroning former champion, and arguably greatest fighter of all time, Demetrious Johnson in a very close and exciting title fight that saw Cejudo edge out the decision win at UFC 227.

Cejudo also won a gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in freestyle wrestling, and in doing so, became the youngest person to win a gold medal in the Olympics. Cejudo will be looking to become the fourth person in UFC history to hold two titles in two different weight classes simultaneously.

Moraes (22-5-1) hit a small road block in his UFC debut, losing to Raphael Assuncao by split decision. Since the loss, Moraes is on a four-fight win streak, including three finishes which all came in the first round.

Many people agree that Moraes wouldn’t even be getting this shot if Dillashaw hadn’t failed a drug test, so expect Moraes to put on a performance of a lifetime.

There’s a lot on the line this Saturday, but I’m picking Moraes to walk away with another piece of history. Watch all of the amazing fights this Saturday on ESPN+.
