After writing my column about dressing up for Halloween, I forgot one major thing this Halloween – to dress up.Frankly, I was busy doing video downtown half the day, getting footage of hundreds of trick-or-treaters who swarmed McMinnville all day Monday, filling their bags with candy and other sugar-laden items that I’m sure kept them awake into the wee hours Tuesday. I’m still of the opinion Tuesday should be a holiday, or at least a late start day in the school system so young kids can sleep off the sugar high and the older kids can take their time rolling yards on Halloween night.
