Our community has produced some first-rate citizens over the years and Mark Gwyn is certainly atop that list.On Monday, Gwyn was appointed to his third term as TBI director. The appointment is significant for a number of reasons.First and foremost, Gwyn is a McMinnville native who has done this town proud by rising to the top in Tennessee law enforcement. He began his career as a McMinnville policeman and climbed his way up the ranks due to hard work and tenacity.Once he got his foot in the door at the TBI as an agent, Gwyn continued to impress.
