For decades, Burroughs-Ross-Colville was known for its bustling sawmill at Depot Bottom with lumber trucks weighted down with logs plodding in and out of the area. But when the recession hit, one of the casualties was the BRC sawmill, which sat vacant for around four years.Sullivan Lumber changed that earlier this year when the company had a fire at its Spencer location and needed a place to set up shop immediately. It picked the old BRC mill.Since that time, BRC and Sullivan Lumber have been working on a deal for the property, which includes about 20 acres and two sawmills.
