I’m not exactly sure at what age people stop getting excited about birthdays, but my boys clearly haven’t reached that age.My youngest son had been conducting a daily countdown leading up to his birthday party, which we held yesterday at our modest home located at an undisclosed neighborhood inside the city limits. I prefer visitors to our home to arrive blindfolded so as not to reveal its secret location. We spent a good deal of time shopping for party favors leading up to this birthday bash with the rest of the family boycotting nearly all of my suggestions. I was also told people no longer play “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” at birthday parties, which I think is a crime.
