There was more standardized testing last week, much to the dismay of nearly everyone involved. My heart goes out to all whose minds were so afflicted.And my heart more seriously feels for all who have been tackled by this troublesome ice storm. Flickering lights, broken tree branches, and figure-skating mothers have been my fill of this meteorological menace, but I know many have had it much worse.
