Zelma Louise Rhea Scott, 91

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Zelma Louise Rhea Scott, 91, was born Nov. 17, 1923 and died Jan. 9 at Alive Hospice in Nashville following an extended illness.
A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Issac and Frankie Smartt Rhea. She was married to Roy C. Scott, who preceded her in death Dec. 8, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Earl Rhea; and five sisters, Bessie Sinks, Wilma Bratcher, Ruth Owen, Jean Butcher and Beatrice Rhea.
She is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie and Garland Lorance, Carolyn and Charlie Delong, and Edith Harris, all of McMinnville, and Dean and Robert Muise of Georgia; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at High’s Chapel with Kevin Lorance officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High’s.
