Cookeville resident and Warren County native Winter Rae Odom, 24, was born Nov. 11, 1996 and passed away suddenly Dec. 13 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A caregiver with Home Instead Senior Care and member of The Oasis church, she was the daughter of Clinton Ray and Angela Renee’ King Odom of Rock Island. In addition to her parents, Miss Odom is survived by son River Lee Turner of Cookeville, siblings Zachary Blake Odom of Cookeville, Ashley Lashae (Brenton) Hickerson of Spencer, and Montana Odom of Rock Island, nephews Brantley and Ashton Hickerson, fiance Kyle Turner of Cookeville, paternal grandmother, Peggie Odom of Readyville, maternal grandfather Danny Ray King of Sparta, paternal grandfather Jackie Ray Odom of Readyville, maternal great-grandfather Jesse H. King of McMinnville, aunts and uncles, Heather Dawn and Rick Watkins of Sparta, Tina and Paul Neumann of Cool, CA, Daniel Brian and Tina King of Sparta, and Irwin “Boo” and Toni Odom of Readyville, and several cousins also survive.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. at High’s Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at High’s. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.
