Winslow Norton “Wince” Hillis, 88, of Bone Cave died Saturday, April 8, at NHC HealthCare.Wince was born Friday, Dec. 21, 1928 in Laurelburg, the son of the late Irving Hillis and Maggie Gillentine Hillis. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a retired supervisor at Genesco and a farmer.He is survived by his two daughters, Sandi Hill and husband, Mark, Vida Hillis; son David Hillis and wife Marcie; five grandchildren, Meaghan Hill, Amelia Hill, Davy Hillis, Mitchell Wilson, and Clay Wilson; brother, Walter Hillis and wife Madalyn; sister, Vida Pearl Parker; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
