Williene “Potsie” Miller, 84

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Williene “Potsie” Miller, 84, was born Sept. 13, 1934 and died Aug. 12 at St. Thomas Stones River Hospital in Woodbury following an extended illness.

An employee with Century Electric for 32 years and Warren County School System for 20 years, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Amy Stoner Coppinger. She was married Feb. 11, 1951 to William Junior Miller, who preceded her in death Jan. 22, 2017.

She is survived by two children, Monty (Restonia) Miller and Kathy Miller Smith, four grandchildren Monty (Kim) Smith, Tennessee Smith, Monica (Chad) Reed and Monty Trea Miller; four great-grandchildren, Emerie Reed, Finley Smith, Abby Smith and Ellie Smith; sister Pat Parker, brother Terry Coppinger; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 18, from 1 to 2 p.m. in High’s Parlor. There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
