William Walter Smith Jr., 62, of McMinnville died Feb. 7 at St. Thomas of Rutherford Critical Care Center after an extended illness.He was born in Maine on Feb. 18, 1951. He is survived by four brothers Howard Smith, Bob Smith, Bruce Harrison and Dale Harrison, and one sister; Sue Smith, all from Maine.He served our country for 17 years in the U.S. Marines. He worked at Food Lion of Smithville and Cee Bee of McMinnville.
