William McKinley “Bill” Askew Jr., 77, a McMinnville resident and Manchester native, died Nov. 8 at Erlanger Medical Center following a sudden illness.A veteran of the United States Army, owner of Baga Printing Company, and member of Stones River Car Club and First Baptist Church, he was the son of the late William McKinley Askew Sr. and Deamie Tanner Askew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Bobby Askew. He is survived by wife, Patsy Askew; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Pam and Dennis Curtis of Ashland City; step-grandson, Davis Cantrell and fiancée Courtney Jowers of Elizabethton; several cousins and extended family and friends.
