Mr. William Fuston "Bill" Womack, 93, of McMinnville, died Friday, Oct. 3, at his residence. He was born Feb. 3, 1921, in Warren County, was a retired valve tester with DeZurik Corporation, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ. Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his parents Cass R. and Mollie Fuston Womack, his wife Freeda Mae Bouldin Womack, a half-sister Anna Mary Cope, brother Price B. Womack, and his half-brothers Rollie Womack and Greenwood Smith.Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Terry L. and Nancy Womack, daughter and son-in-law Tamara and Marty Campbell, all of McMinnville, sister Peggy Roy of Nashville, and brother Junnus R. Womack of Ringgold, Ga., grandchildren, Tracie Franks and Tully Franks, great-grandchildren Alexis Pigott, and Daelin Franks, all of Murfreesboro, step-grandchildren Emily (Mike) Freeman, Kim (Jerry) Muncey, and Johnny Taylor, step-great-grandchildren Nancy Ruth Freeman, and Brandon and Jeremy Muncey, and special caregiver Vanisha Wright, all of McMinnville.
