McMinnville resident and Warren County native William Corbin McCormick, 79, was born Aug. 22, 1932 and died July 2 at his residence following a short illness.A retired logger and saw mill worker and a member of First Assembly of God, he was the son of the late James William and Maggie Lee Priest McCormick He was married to Nellie Lee Lewis McCormick, who preceded him in death Oct. 25, 2000, and brother, Harvel Hale. He is survived by eight children and their spouses, Brenda and Carl McGinness, David Lynn and Barbara Bates, Nathan Bates, Linda Bates, Bobby McCormick, Rickey and Louise McCormick and Joe and Treva McCormick, all of McMinnville, and Beverly and James Eubanks of Morrison; 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Mariecha McCormick of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Unita Butcher and Sarah Rogers.Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in High’s Chapel with Rev.
