McMinnville resident and Warren County native Willer Dean McKinley, 83, was born June 18, 1941 and died June 29, 2024 at her residence following a brief illness.
A housekeeper and a member of Clark United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Lucius and Jennie Carr Woods. She was married to Woodrow McKinley who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Wayne and Michael McKinley; granddaughter, Misha McKinley; four sisters and five brothers.
Mrs. McKinley is survived by children, Charline (James) Copeland of Norwich, Conn. and Waymon McKinley, Betty McKinley and Margaret McKinley, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Phillipe (Maura) Copeland, Yvette Gauthier, Rachel McKinley, Laura McKinley, Quinton McKinley and Michael Robey, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jahvahn Gurley, Tiyah Gurley, Donta Gurley, Samantha Gauthier, Desmond Copeland and Douglass Copeland and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6 in High’s Chapel with Gerard Harlan officiating. Burial will follow at Leesburg Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
A meal will be prepared for family and friends at Clark United Methodist Church after burial.
