McMinnville resident and Warren County native Waymon Hugh Curtiss, 64, was born Sept. 18, 1952 and died Sept. 24 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville following an extended illness. A self-employed contractor and farmer, he was the son of the late Waymon Eugene and Bonita Cain Curtiss. Mr. Curtiss was a member of Hebron Church of Christ and also regularly attended Smith Grove Church of Christ in Cannon County.Mr. Curtiss is survived by son Dustin Curtiss of Sevierville; daughter Christina Farley of Sevierville; sisters Molly Dearing Schoenauer of Fairfax, Va., and Nancy (Samuel) Hitchcock of Rock Island; special friends Gerlinde and Collier Rogers and Shanna McCormick, all of Rock Island; Marshall and Donna Williams of Woodbury and Terry and Linda Henderson of Morrison; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
