Mrs. Virginia Rose Palmer, 93, of McMinnville, died Monday, May 1, 2023, at her home. She was born May 16, 1929, in Carthage, Tenn., was homemaker, and a member of First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by parents, William Clarence and Pearlie Lynn Clemmons Day; husband Harold Birdeen Palmer, son Rodney Bruce Palmer, and sisters Leila Belle Proffit and Ann Brown. 

Survivors include her children Mary Threasa (Jeff) Fowlkes, David S. (Linda) Palmer, and Pamela Leah (Rick) Burton, brother William (Diana) Day, Joyce (Glendon) Woodard, and Linda McClanhan, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 03, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Sammy Lee and Daniel Campbell will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at McMinnville Funeral Home.
