Morrison resident and Union Township, Elkhart County, IN native Virginia May Clem, 92, was born Aug. 15, 1928 and passed away Sept. 9 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville following a short illness.

Retired from retail sales management with W.T. Grant Stores and a member of Rockliff Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Bertha Holderbaum Kiefer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Horace Leon Green, and second husband, Paul Clem, and granddaughter Denise Green.  

Mrs. Clem is survived by three children, Dennis (Linda) Green of Nolensville, Leslie (Roma) Green of Elkhart, IN and Rhonda (Darroll) Smith of Viola, five grandchildren Daniel (MaryAnn) Green, Sara (Brian) Covert, Ryan (Kristen) Green, Shane (Tammy) Smith and Rachel (James) Burnett; and 12 beloved great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 12 p.m. at Rockliff Church of Christ with Mike Bouldin officiating. Burial will follow at Rockliff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. There will be no service or visitation at High’s. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rockliff Church of Christ Mission Fund. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
