McMinnville resident and Delphi, Ind., native Virginia Marie Cole, 85, was born Aug. 20, 1931 and died Dec. 18 at her residence following a six-year illness.
A homemaker and member of Dayspring Community Church, she was the daughter of the late Gordon C. and Eva Florence Beard Moore. She was married to Andy T. Cole, who preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1999. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Robert and Gordon Moore.
She is survived by five children and spouses, Billy Lee Cole of Doyle, Terri Jean and Mick Clark of Lafayette, Ind., Steve Ray Cole of McMinnville, Vicki Lynn and Donald Arquitt of Horn Lake, Ms., and Jo Nannette and Curtis Morton of McMinnville; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Shirley Saltsman of Delphi, Ind.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at High’s Chapel with Rex Boles officiating. Burial will follow at McElroy Cemetery in Van Buren County. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
