Mrs. Violet Nell Fuson Young, 95, of McMinnville, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday Aug. 28, 2024. She was born Aug. 25, 1929, in Liberty, and was raised in Smithville. Nell married her husband of 49 years on Nov. 25, 1950 and raised a wonderful family. Mrs. Young was a member of Gath Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She also worked and retired from Genesco after more than 30 years.
