Yuba City, Calif., resident and Warren County native Vera Lee Thomas, 78, peacefully passed away July 19, 2018, in Marysville, Calif. The daughter of the late Frank Duncan and Ada Rosena Starkey Lusk, she was also preceded in death by her husband L.V. Thomas, daughter Sherry Mosley and three brothers James, Donald, and Howard Lusk. She leaves to cherish her daughter Dianna Thomas Fitts of San Diego, Calif.; son David Thomas of Yuba City, Calif., four grandchildren Pilar Burks (Antione), Ashley Fitts and Sydnie Fitts of Houston, Texas and Tyler Mosley of Yuba City, Calif.; two sisters Johnnie Dillard of McMinnville and Juanita Taylor of Rock Island; four brothers and sisters-in-law Charles and Georgia Lusk of McMinnville, Harold and Louise Lusk of McMinnville, Jerry Lusk of Murfreesboro, and Curtis and Rhonda Lusk of Murfreesboro; sister-in-law Margaret Lusk of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends to cherish her memory.
