Mr. Thomas Lynn “Tommy” Potter, 73, of Spencer passed away Friday, March 18, at his home.  

Tommy was born on July 21, 1948 to the late Auby Franklin and Evelyn Heard Potter. He was a lifetime resident of Van Buren County, a graduate of Van Buren County High School Class of 1966 and retired from Powermatic in McMinnville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Banker Potter, brothers Alvie, Steve and Auby Potter.

Tommy is survived by his loving family, son Lynn (Tammy) Potter, grandchildren Tyler Potter and Lyndsey (Dalton) Bryant, great-grandchild Sebastian Bryant, sisters Reba Simmons, Charlotte Potter, Lisa Potter and Liz Armstrong. An extended family also survives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, at 2 p.m. in the Layne Chapel with Bro. R.C. Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Spencer Town Cemetery. Visitation times are Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m., Monday from 1 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. till time of service at 2 p.m. Send condolences to the family at www.laynefuneralhome.com
