McMinnville resident and Warren County native Thomas Edward Martin, 71, was born July 17, 1953 and died Dec. 25, 2024 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.

A former employee of Yorozu and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late William Lawrence Martin, Jr. and Nannie Bell Ramsey Martin.

Mr. Martin is survived by children, Shatorra Perkins of Morrison, LynTonya McKinley of Ohio, Barry Johnson of Morrison and LaQuita McKinley of Ohio; grandchildren, Jayren and Kyra Perkins, LynTasia, Domanique and Joseph Harris and Dynell and Lataya Johnson; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Martin, Scherre Martin and William Martin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29 in High’s Chapel with Marty Gribble to officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at High’s.
