Theresa Sue Cunningham, 61, a McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native, was born Sept. 29, 1956 and died June 11 at Kindred Hospital following a sudden illness.She was a retired nurse with Raintree Manor and daughter of the late Roy and Sarah Jane Garrett Cruise. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Kenneth Cunningham; and brother Manuel Cruise.Mrs. Cunningham is survived by daughters Sara Dodd and Melissa Tate, both of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, Tiara Dodd (Ethan Mendez), Ranson Dodd, Gabriel Tate, Pacey Tate, Pennye Tate, Allie Key and Devin Key (Merissa Chapman); brother Ray (Angie) Cruise of Dechard; sisters June Marie (Terry) Thompson of Manchester and Theresa Ward of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at High’s Chapel. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Saturday until the time of service at High’s.
