McMinnville resident and Warren County native Terry Burton Newcome, 69, died Jan. 22 at his home after an extended illness.A tool and die maker with Oster Corporation and a U.S. Army veteran, he was the son of Henry and Betty Smith Newcome.He is survived by aunts, Gertrude Fisher and Betty Newcome of McMinnville; uncle, Leon (Kitty) Newcome of McMinnville; former wife, Phyllis Newcome of McMinnville; nephews, Louie, Dickie and Danny Fleisher, all of McMinnville; special friend, Carla Wood of McMinnville and friends of the Crisp Springs Library.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mt. View Cemetery with friends officiating. Military graveside rites will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
