Mrs. Sharon Black Coppinger, 65, of Benton died Saturday, Sept. 1, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was born Feb. 14, 1953, in McMinnville, was a homemaker, and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Coppinger was preceded in death by her parents Jimmie Tindell and Betty Irene Basham Black, brother Mason Black, and son Gregg Couch.Survivors include her husband Terry Coppinger, children Maria (Mike) Pike, Jimmie (Tennille) Couch, Vanessa (Ernie) Winchester, and Chad (Tammy) Coppinger, sister Josie Winchester, 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
