Ruth Elizabeth Cunningham Angel, 93, of McMinnville, died Tuesday, March 18, at her home after a brief illness. She was born July 29, 1920 to the late John and Bell Cunningham of Bledsoe County. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Lee Angel.Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth (Elijah) Poore of McMinnville; Dorothy Ann Sanders of Connecticut; Rachel (Paul) McCormick of Dibrell; son, Johnny Lee (Laura) Angel Sr., of Munford; 11 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.The family will receive family and friends Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday morning until service time at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
