Altamont resident and Warren County native Rosa Ellan Haley Higgins Buckner Perron, 84, was born Jan. 5, 1939 and died March 26, 2023 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilition following a brief illness. 

A retired factory worker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Lucy Nunley Haley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Melody Darlene Higgins; an infant brother;  husbands, Shirley Higgins, Bill Buckner and Brett Perron, and son-in-law, George Nunley.

Mrs. Perron is survived by a son, Ernie (Shaune) Higgins of Grand Rapids, Mich.; daughter, Shirley Ann Nunley of Altamont, Tenn.; grandchildren, Athena (Josh) Grosch, Klent (Steph) Nunley, Olympia Nunley, Remington Nunley and Jaime Meister and ten great-grandchildren.

Per Mrs. Perron’s request, she will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
