Ronald Brian Castle died Oct. 14 in Winchester. 
Born in Houston, Texas on Dec. 11, 1947 to Warren P. and Irene W. Castle, he was preceded in death by his father Warren P. Castle, his stepfather, Phillip R. Miller, his son, Marc A. Castle and his grandson Joshua Brown.
Ron is survived by his wife of 48 years Pamela D. Castle, daughters Shannon Castle, Kristan Ware and Rebecca Castle, grandchildren Jonathan Reed, Natalie Reed, Kaeden Harris, Gracie Smith, Hunter Ware, Alexander Ware, Camden Ware, Emma Shelton and Sierra Brown. He also leaves behind his mother Irene Miller and sisters Kay Rugh and Misty Castle.
A much loved husband, father, son, brother and friend, Ron was an entrepreneur, business owner, small farmer and philanthropist. Founder, along with his wife Pamela, of Castle Industrial Ergonomics, Ron Castle Webs and Sunshine Works, he was one of the founding members of Friends of South Cumberland State Recreational Area and Life Member No. 1 and a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. in the banquet room of San Miguel’s Coffee Company, on the square, in Winchester.
