Roger Clinton Lynn, 61, a McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native, was born Nov. 21, 1956 and died Jan. 4 at his residence following an extended illness. He was a retired masonry supervisor with Kemp Construction, member of the Baptist Church, and son of the late Albert Marlon and Velma Goolsby Lynn. Mr. Lynn is survived by wife, Dianne Lynn; two sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Lynn of Lafayette and Jamie and Kimberly Lynn of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Matt Zurelle of Alabama; two stepdaughters and spouses, Linda and Alissa Short, and Jamie and Wally Rhea, all of McMinnville; stepson Jimmy McGlothen of McMinnville; grandchildren Andrew Turner, Gabe Zurelle, Eliseanna Lynn, Kynsley Lynn, Harley Lynn, Cole Godwin and Peyton Godwin; mother-in-law, Betty Short of McMinnville; three brothers and sister-in-law, George and Diane Lynn of Spring City, James Lynn and Doug Lynn, both of Kentucky; numerous nieces and nephews.
