Mr. Roger Clayton Cook, 82, of McMinnville died Saturday, Nov. 6, at his residence. 

He was born Dec. 27, 1938, in Red Boiling Springs, TN, was the former owner of Cook’s Pawn Shop, served his country with the U. S. Army, and was a Baptist. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents Wiseman Clayton and Izbell Gladys Cassidy Cook, sister Robbie Cook Huddleston, and a brother Ronald Clay Cook.

Survivors include his daughter Robin Rudicel, son Rick and his husband Jeremy Cook, grandchildren Megan (Brad) Smedley, Loran Rudicel, Gabriel Rudicel, Maddison Cook, and Parker Cook, and great-grandchildren Aiden Rudicel, Jameson Clark, Camryn Smedley, Brantley Smedley, and Kiley Smedley.

Per his request, Mr. Cook will be cremated at McMinnville Crematory LLC and no immediate services are planned at this time. Online condolences may be made at www.mcminnvillefuneralhome.com.
