Frankfort resident and Rock Island native Roberta Hale, 93, died Oct. 19 at Clinton House and Rehab Center.A press operator with Uni-Electric and a member of Pilgrim Holliness Church, she enjoyed sewing and cooking.The daughter of the late Dan and Maggie Austin Roberts, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Hale; and brother, Edmond Roberts.She is survived by one daughter, Edith (husband Bud) Payne of Frankfort; six sons, Harold Ray (wife Elise) Hale of North Carolina, Paul (wife Sandy) Hale, formerly of Lafayette, Billy Hale of Kokomo, David L. (wife Diana) Hale of Kokomo, Nathan (wife Vicki) Hale of Frankfort, and Danny (wife Diana) Hale of Kokomo; and one brother, Leonard Roberts of Florida; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Genda Funeral Home with Rev. James Farney officiating. Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
