McMinnville resident and Cincinnati, Ohio native Robert Harry “Bob” Wood, 72, was born July 8, 1942 and died Nov. 6 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired mechanic, a United States Air Force veteran of Vietnam and a member of Brethren in Christ Church, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Laverne H. Bullock Wood. He is survived by sister, Judy Alvis of Cincinnati; nephew, Andrew Alvis of Los Angeles, Calif.; niece, Robin Hill of Bethel, Ohio; great-niece, Bailey Hill of Cincinnati, Ohio; great-nephew, Cooper Hill of Cincinnati; and stepdaughter, Lisa Simmons of McMinnville.
