Mrs. Robbie Winnett, 84, of McMinnville (Centertown community) died Sunday, March 16, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. She was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Clay County, was a retired employee of Genesco, and a member of the Church of Christ at Centertown. Mrs. Winnett was preceded in death by her parents, Bulis Marcom and Veva Brown Marcom Smoot; her husband, W.T. (Billy) Winnett; her sisters, Marie Nevins, Mary Jean Sewell, and her brothers Bill, Jack, Tom, Bob, and J.B. (Jake) Marcom.Survivors include her son Tylee (Janice) Marcum, grandchildren Brandon (Kari) Marcum and Kayla (Larry) Hale, great-grandchildren Braden Marcum, Hayden Hale, and Hunter Gudat, all of the Centertown community.
