McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ray R. Huggins, 85, was born July 22, 1929 and died Dec. 20 at Raintree Manor following a three-year illness.He was retired from the military as a radio relay technician with two years in the United States Army in Maples, Italy and 18 years in the United States Air Force in Korea. A member of Hiawassee Church of Christ, he was the son of the late George and Arabella Roach Huggins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Cathy Huggins; brother Kenneth Huggins; and two sisters Marie Savage and Lillie Wood.He was married March 27, 1988 to his wife of 26 years, Georgia M. Huggins of McMinnville.
