McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ralph Earl Gross, 87, died unexpectedly March 6 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.A farmer and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Willie and Rosa Lee Hobbs Gross. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Denton and Waymon Gross; and sisters, Mildred O’Neal and Emma Jean Barker.He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Hobbs Gross of Northcutt’s Cove; brother and sister-in-law, Winton and Addie Gross of Crossville; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ruth and Johnny Northcutt of Arizona; special nieces and nephews, Melody Lovell and Jim Lovell of Northcutt’s Cove, Cindy and Phillip Bacon of Chattanooga, Carolyn Joan Braswell of Blues Hill, Natalie Lovell of Northcutt’s Cove, and several other nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at High’s Chapel with Wayne Cantrell, R.S. Rigney, John Sommers and Chris Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery.
