Peggy West, 72, a Nashville resident and Smithville native, died March 23 at Southern Hills Medical Center following a sudden illness.She was a retired employee with the state of Tennessee, a member of the Baptist Church, and daughter of the late Fred Brown and Clydie Lee Banks Mangum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Freddie Wayne Mangum and Donnie Mangum; maternal grandparents Clyde and Clara Banks; paternal grandparents Jesse and Novella Mangum; and brother-in-law Ernie Roberts.Survivors include brothers Christopher (Valerie) Mangum and Stephen (Roxanne) Mangum, both of McMinnville; sister Deborah Roberts of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at High’s Chapel with Bro. Robert Wright officiating.
