Mrs. Peggy Joyce Brady Higgins, 84, of McMinnville died Monday, Dec. 17, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 25, 1934, in Dayton, was a member of Northside Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by husband of 66 years Donald Dewey Higgins, parents Luther and Daisy Nixon Brady, granddaughter Robin Fields Williams, grandson Mickey Jason Sewell, sister Laverne Brady Gentry, and brother Charles Brady.

Survivors include her children Sharon (Russell) Ferguson, Janice (Ted) Richards, and Keith Higgins, four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one on the way, two great-great grandchildren, sisters Shelby Stinnett and Jo West, and brothers Kenny Brady and Tommy Brady. Nephews, nieces, and many family friends also survive.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Michael Carr and Bro. Landon Fleming will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The Higgins family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
