Peggy Ann Mullican died Wednesday, May 10 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital.

Peggy Ann Mullican, 76, of the Oak Grove community died Wednesday, May 10, at St. Thomas River Park Hospital.
She was born April 19, 1941, in Nashville, was a member of Sunny Hills Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Mullican, alongside her husband Mack W. Mullican Sr., owned and operated Mullican Monument and Vault Company, were both foreign missionaries, and were instrumental in the Crusaders for Christ Rescue Mission for several years. She was a Sunday school teacher for 34 years and was preceded in death by parents, W.T. Russell Pomeroy and Mina Adcock Pomeroy, brother Fred Pomeroy, stepdaughter Elaine Mullican, son Johnny Mullican, and grandson Wesley Sullins.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mack W. Mullican Sr., daughters Dianne (Steve) Smotherman, Barbara Mullican, LeAnne (Dr. James) VanWinkle, and Mack W. Mullican Jr., stepsons Steve and Dan Mullican, grandchildren Steven (Missy) Smotherman, Aimee (Jay) Warren, Jenna Sullins, Levi (Kelsey) Smotherman, Jamie Bush (Amanda) Martinez, Addison VanWinkle, Ayden VanWinkle, Dillon Mullican, and Brookelynn (Derek) Hubbard, great-grandchildren, Brandon Emamalie, Brodie Warren, Marley Warren, Trey Smotherman, Bentlee Martinez, Axel Hubbard, and Paisley Mullican, sisters Louise Mullican and Debby Pomeroy, and brother Tommy (Cathy) Pomeroy. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be at noon Saturday, May 13, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. John Jones and Richard Haley will officiate. Entombment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery at Green Hill with Tommy Pomeroy Jr. officiating. The Mullican family will receive friends Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., and again Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Fund at Sunny Hills Missionary Baptist Church, 2216 Robert Wilson Rd., McMinnville 37110.
