McMinnville resident and Warren County native Patricia June King, 60, was born Dec. 28, 1957 and died Nov. 18 at NHC Healthcare Center in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A retired manager with Tietgen’s Food Store, she was the daughter of the late Thelma Simons Duncan and Alvin Gordon Duncan. She was married to Ernest Dwight King, who preceded her in death Dec. 26, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Thelma Lee Hiles.

She is survived by daughter, Christy Deann Brady Locke of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Christian Wayne Randolph Locke, Zaccheaus Jamaal Locke and Zamirah Skye Locke; four brothers and sisters-in-law Larry Wayne and Judith Duncan of Destin, Fla., George Franklin and Margie Duncan of Indianapolis, Ind., Jimmy Curtis and Carol Duncan of Baxter, and Kenneth Bryan and Rose Duncan of McMinnville; and seventeen nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m. at High’s Chapel with Rex Boles officiating. Burial will follow at Morrison Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
