Murfreesboro resident Patricia Jane Gaw Krauth, 71, died Dec. 14 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital after a four-week illness.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael B. Krauth of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Karen Krauth with grandchildren, Gracey and Judah of Smyrna; daughter and son-in-law, Trisha and Clint Harris with grandchildren, Macy, Brayden, and Connor of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by three siblings, Barbara Gaw Sain of McMinnville, Marilyn Gail Gaw of Knoxville, and John Larry Gaw of Oak Ridge. She was the daughter of Dr. John C. and Helen Gaw of McMinnville.
She was a retired school teacher, realtor, wife, mom and loving grandmother. She attended Bel-Aire Church of Christ in Tullahoma before moving to Murfreesboro 15 years ago where she attended World Outreach Church and was a greeter at the 8:30 service.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pat Allison and Bob Bush Officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
