McMinnville resident and Raye, Okla., native Omagene Martin Beck, 82, was born March 20, 1932 and died April 2 at River Park Hospital following a short illness.A retired secretary with Cumberland Caverns and member of Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Phillip J. and Rosa Addington Martin. She was married Nov. 9, 1951 to William Henry Beck, who preceded her in death Feb. 15, 2013. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Vasta Sue Beck and brother, Otis Martin.Mrs. Beck is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Darrell Bost of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Melinda Beck of Morrison; three grandchildren, Robin Bost and Carl Wayne Knowles of Smithville, and Jacob Bost and wife Cally and Leslee Sanders and husband Jeremy, both of McMinnville; four great-grandchildren, Brayden Knowles, Asher Bost and Ethan and Colton Sanders; sister, Tina Franklin of Tuscola, Texas; several nieces and nephews and special caregivers, Brandy Turner and Carolyn Fann.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating.
