Ollie Beatrice Pritchett, 78, a McMinnville resident and Grundy County native, was born Feb. 3, 1942 and passed away March 18 at NHC McMinnville following an extended illness.

She was a homemaker, a member of Dayspring Community Church, and the daughter of the late Issac and Berthina King Perry. Mrs. Pritchett was married March 25, 1959 to Everett Pritchett, who preceded her in death on April 4, 2011. She was also preceded in death by sister Nellie Gladys King, and brothers Hershel, Lewis, and Charles Perry.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Daryl and Lisa Pritchett and Duane and Sherry Pritchett, all of McMinnville, five grandchildren Heather (David) Nowlin of Shelbyville, Cody Pritchett of McMinnville, Laura Barnes of McMinnville, Evan Pritchett of Cookeville and Samantha Pritchett of McMinnville, two great-grandchildren Destiny and Jaiden Deskins, sister Elene Scruggs of McMinnville, brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne Perry of Beersheba, Willard (Christine) Perry of the Tarlton community and Ray (Treva) Perry of Coalmont. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at
